Eligible SBOs meet one of these sets of criteria: • Master’s degree in a field related to school business + two years of experience. • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to school business + three years of experience. • Completion of an ASBO affiliate workshop that covers the SFO exam competencies + three years of experience. • Seven years as a school business official and approval based on the provision for seasoned practitioners.
